Originally I am from Germany, where I completed medical training and worked in social/ behavioral pediatrics before becoming a child and adolescent psychiatrist. I moved to the United States over 20 years ago and have lived in beautiful Oregon for 15 of those. After fellowship at OHSU I’ve gained experience working with children and adolescents at various levels of care - inpatient, subacute, residential and also EASA- early assessment and support alliance. For the past 7 years I’ve been mostly engaged in community based / school based outpatient work with children and teens from age 5 up to 18. Although I have ample experience prescribing medications, I’ve developed a more holistic approach over the past 5 years. In my free time I enjoy Gracie, my Golden retriever, hiking, camping, singing in a choir and art.
